ISLAMABAD:National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf inaugurated an exhibition of rare manuscripts of the Holy Quran here at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Tuesday in connection with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Constitution.
It has been organized by Iran Pakistan Persian Research Center and the Iranian Cultural Consulate. Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said organizing the exhibition on the 27th Ramadan is highly appreciable.
He said Holy Quran is the source of guidance for the humanity. He said the Muslim Ummah can surmount the challenges it is faced with by following the teachings of Holy Quran.
He said Pakistan's constitution is fully harmonized with Quran and Sunnah. As regards relations with Iran, the Speaker said Pakistan values its relations with the fraternal country.
