Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori will host the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations at Governor House at his personal expense. Daily Naat and Qawwali programs will be held from the 1st to the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, featuring renowned religious scholars, Naat reciters, and Qawwals from across Pakistan. A digital platform has also been established for these events, and a special program for women will be held on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. The Governor House will remain open to the public on this occasion.

Governor Tessori also expressed his intention to correspond with the State Bank Governor and the Prime Minister regarding the issuance of a commemorative note and coin on the occasion of the 1500th birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). This was stated during a press briefing after a meeting at Governor House with religious leaders from various schools of thought regarding the arrangements for Rabi-ul-Awwal. The meeting was attended by prominent religious scholars, including the Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

Emphasizing the significance of the 1500th birth anniversary, the Governor said that preparations are underway worldwide in this regard. Plans for commemorative events, including peace marches and gatherings across the province, were discussed in the meeting. Religious leaders presented suggestions for the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations, and the Governor assured full cooperation and security.
