The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has decided to install self-service machines in Karachi to facilitate citizens.

According to NADRA information today, the self-service kiosks will be set up for the renewal of smart national identity cards and for obtaining lost identity cards. This system will allow citizens to benefit from the services without having to wait in long queues. Initially, these self-service kiosks will be installed at NADRA mega centers, followed by airports, railway stations, and shopping malls.

NADRA officials stated that the kiosks were unveiled at the Ideas Exhibition, and the next phase will involve trial runs of this automated system. Once success, the kiosks will be installed at any of the city’s mega centers. They also mentioned that although this installation is happening for the first time in Karachi, the self-service kiosks have already been set up at NADRA’s mega center in Islamabad.
