Naseebullah Betani criticizes Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman racist comments

Quetta:Malik Naseebullah Betani, General Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf District Quetta, has criticized Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman for his racist comments against Betani tribe.

“Pushtoon nation and particularly its sub cast Betani tribe has rendered great sacrifices for the country,” he said.

“Remarks of Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman about Betani tribe is condemnable,” he said while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Monday.

Also present on the occasion were Bari Bareach, General Secretary, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Tehreek-e-Insaf, Idrees Taj, Bilal Achakzai, Syed Sanaullah Agha and others.

Malik Naseebullah Betani said, “The politics of Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman is not for Islam rather it is for Islamabad and power”.

He said when people rejected him in the election, he started using abusive language which altogether negated Islamic principles and pushtoon traditions.

After the press conference, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf staged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club to condemn the abusive language uttered by Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman against Betani tribe.
