(National): Al-Khidmat distributes relief items worth Rs11.6m in Balochistan

Quetta:Syed Ehsanullah Waqas, Senior Vice President Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan said that Al-Khidmat Foundation has distributed relief items amounting to rupees Rs11.6 million amongst flood and rain affected people of Jhal Magsi, Kachhi, Bolan, Khuzdar, Surab, Wasuk and Jafarabad districts of the province.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Saturday with Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangut, Vice President, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Jameel Ahmed Kurd, President, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Balochistan and others he said that eleven thousand people had benefited from the relief items distributed by Al-Khidmat Foundation.

“In the first phase affected people were rescued to safe places which was followed by a survey conducted by volunteers of Al-Khidmat Foundation”, added Syed Ehsanullah Waqas. He said earlier ration amounting to rupees three Crore was distributed amongst lockdown affected people of Balochistan.

He said Al-Khidmat Foundation had initiated more projects in different areas of Balochistan to provide pure drinking water to the people of the province, adding that latest Al-Khidmat hospital at Brewery Road was near to its completion. He said Al-Khidmat Foundation was caring for about two hundred and fifty orphan children.
