Quetta:A four-day anti-polio campaign will kick off in 33 districts of the province from Monday (today). All necessary arrangements for the campaign have been finalized.
Rashid Razzaq, Coordinator, Polio Emergency Operation Centre, Balochistan says that the target of administering anti-polio drops to 25 lac children, below the age of five, has been set, adding that 10585 teams are going to take part in the campaign including 8988 Mobile Teams, 941 Fixed Sites and 594 Transit Points. He said in order to defeat polio virus, the role of parents, political circles, religious scholars and administration is pivotal.
