(National): Karachi issues could be resolved through coordination only: PM Imran Khan

Karachi:Problems of the megacity could only be resolved through cooperation and coordination, said Prime Minister Imran Khan, presiding over a high-level meeting here in the Governor House on Saturday.

The meeting amongst others was attended by Sindh governor Imran Ismail, chief minister Murad Ali Shah and provincial ministers Nasir Hussain Shah and Saeed Ghani. Director General ISI Lt General Faiz Hameed, Corps Commander Karachi General Humayon Aziz were also present. A detailed briefing was given to the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said Karachi is the most important city of Pakistan and hub of its economy. He said its problems could be solved through coordination. He said he was glad that the federal and provincial governments and Pak Army are present to resolve the issues of Karachi. He assured that the federal government would provide every possible effort to mitigate the losses of Karachi during recent rains.
