(National): Opposition APC forms new alliance, demands resignation of PM Imran

Islamabad:An all parties conference of major opposition parties hosted by the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) here Sunday formed a new political alliance, Pakistan Democratic Alliance, and demanded resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The APC was addressed virtually by the founder of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif from London. It was also addressed by PPP leader Asif Zardari, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other leaders. PML-N leader Mariam Nawaz also attended the moot.

The APC agreed to form a new political alliance named Pakistan Democratic Alliance. It demanded resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan. It also announced to hold a series of protests and marches against the sitting government from the first week of the next month, i.e., October 2020.
