ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said work on an exclusive economic zone in Islamabad will begin this year.
Addressing a ceremony here in Islamabad on Thursday, he said one thousand acre land has been allocated near Rawat for the zone by Capital Development Authority (CDA).
The Minister lamented that development projects under CPEC and Vision 2025 were delayed during the PTI’s tenure causing an irreparable loss to national economy and overall progress and prosperity of the country.
