ISLAMABAD:As the second wave of Coronavirus intensifies in Pakistan, 40 more deaths and 2,839 new cases of infection were reported during the last 24 hours.
According to the latest statistics of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the ratio of positive cases has also risen to eight point five percent in a day.
The death toll in the country has reached 8,025 while 398,024 patients stand recovered from the pandemic. There are now 48,576 active cases in the country.
