Mogadishu Somalia's Foreign Minister Ahmed Isse Awad met here on Monday with Mr. Nicolas Berlanga Martinez, who submitted his credentials to him as the new Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to the Federal Republic of Somalia.
Awad expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for the distinguished relations between Somalia and the EU, stressing that the European bloc is one of the most important partners in the development and reconstruction projects of the country.
The foreign minister and the new EU ambassador exchanged many ideas and initiatives to promote and develop multi-purpose relations to support the peace process and reconciliation, as well as implementing and activating all agreements signed between the two parties.
