ISLAMABAD:Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said the new government will take on board the opposition benches on national issues.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the new government will hold bye-elections if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members resign from their seats. Ahsan Iqbal said the issue of threatening letter would be thoroughly investigated for its logical end.

He said Pakistan PTI used the letter for its face saving to exit the government. Ahsan Iqbal said Imran Khan had made hostage the entire democratic system just for his self-esteem. Meanwhile, PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said urged the PTI to let the situation be fixed in which it has brought the country and the nation.

Responding to former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary’s statement regarding Shahbaz Sharif’s nomination for Prime Minister’s elections, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the ruling party should be let to end the sufferings of the people. She said the PTI violated the constitution and attempted to damage democracy for the sake of saving its government.
