KARACHI: The Met Office on Saturday forecast entry of another westerly wave in Balochistan on April 21. The new weather system will bring rainfall in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, weather department has predicted. “It will be premature to forecast the impact of new westerly wave over Sindh including Karachi,” Met Office said. New weather system could likely bring gusty winds in Karachi. The weather could remain pleasant on Eid ul Fitr, owing to windy weather, according to Meet Office.

“Ongoing hot weather spell likely to persist until coming Monday,” weather office said. “Sea breeze is expected to become fully active from April 10 to 13,” according to the weather report. Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast an overall, tendency for normal to slightly above normal precipitation in the country during April. Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and northern Punjab are expected to receive slightly above normal rainfall. The temperatures are expected to remain slightly above normal over northern and southern parts whereas normal to below normal over central parts of the country, the Met Office has said.
