Jammu, October 05, 2021 (PPI-OT): India’s infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheet against two Kashmiri youth before a special court in Jammu under various sections of black laws. The NIA said it had filed a supplementary chargesheet against two youth, Shahid Naveed and Zafar Iqbal.
Officials said the chargesheet was filed against Shaid Naveed and Zafar Iqbal – both hailing from Poonch district of IIOJK but currently residing in Pakistan – under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Arms Act, Explosive Substances Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in a December 2020 case.
NIA officials claimed that Zafar Iqbal had sent funds through his associate Shaid Naveed from abroad. These funds were further sent to Poonch for the purpose of carrying out terror activities in the territory, officials alleged. The case was initially registered by the J and K Police in Poonch on December 27, 2020.
