Police teams from Humak, Golra, and Karachi Company have arrested nine notorious gang members involved in multiple criminal activities across the city.

The arrests resulted in the recovery of snatched valuables and an array of weapons with ammunition. The apprehended individuals, identified as Ali, Essa, Awais, Tanveer, Irfan, Waheed, Sheraz, Qamar Abbas, and Jaberan Jalal, have been linked to numerous criminal acts in different city areas. Among the recovered items were stolen motorbikes, mobile phones, and assorted valuables.

Cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigations are in progress. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad instructed officers to intensify the crackdown on criminal elements, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding citizens’ lives and property.

He reiterated that criminal activity will not be tolerated and urged residents to report any suspicious behavior via the emergency helpline ‘Pucar-15’.
