KARACHI:Nine schools were closed in Umerkot city on Wednesday after five teachers and eight children were diagnosed with coronavirus.
The closed schools included Government High School, Girls School Abdul Wahid Khanbhar Colony, Primary School Ahori Farm, Girls Middle School New Chorr, Primary School Haro Mall Malhi, Primary School Saeedpur, Primary School Bajeranji Dhani and Primary School Hussain Malkani.
The virus-affected schools will remain closed from Nov 4 to 15, 2020. The district government Umerkot has urged people to strictly follow SOPs for their safety from the virus.
