ISLAMABAD:The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan succeeded without any vote of the 20 estranged parliamentarians of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday night.
The PTI government had filed a no-trust reference against all the estranged PTI parliamentarians to bar them from voting in favour of no-trust motion. The opposition, however, managed to get the support of above 174 parliamentarians, ousting the PM Khan. On Saturday, PTI had filed a reference before Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser against its estranged legislators under section 63A.
