CHAGAI:Noted tribal elder of district Chagai and owner of Rekodiq, while rejecting the agreement of Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project, has said that Rekodiq belonged to Naroe Baloch tribe and no one else had the right to ink agreement about Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that Rekodiq belonged to Baloch tribe, hence, neither Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo nor anyone else had the right to sell the land and resources of Rekodiq without taking into confidence the residents of Rekodiq. “Who is Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Minister Balochistan to have sought permission from Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal and Mehmood Khan Achakzai regarding agreement about Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project rather than consulting the real owners of Rekodiq”, said he. He called on the higher authorities to take into confidence Naroe Baloch tribe of Rekodiq area of district Chagai before finalizing the agreement about Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project.

Meanwhile, District Session Judge, Noshki on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to three accused and one year imprisonment to six other accused in a murder case. According to report, District and Session Judge, Noshki sentenced three accused namely Quddatullah, Abdul Majeed and Hidayatullah to undergo rigorous life imprisonment and six other accused were awarded 1 year rigorous imprisonment in a murder case. The accused had killed one person namely Abdul Shalkot in Killi Station area of district Noshki in Balochistan province during the year 2020.
