A Jamaat-e-Islami delegation, led by party’s Central Deputy General Secretary Mumtaz Hussain Jakro, called on former federal minister, National Peoples Party chief, and GDA central leader Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi at the Jatoi House near Moro and invited him to join an upcoming All Parties Conference to be held in Sukkur.

The delegation extended an invitation to Jatoi to attend the conference, which he accepted. The conference aims to discuss the worsening law and order situation, water theft, and the rise of bandit culture in Sindh.

The meeting also included discussions on the country’s political situation and Sindh’s deteriorating security. The delegation members emphasized the need for the government to take immediate action against the increasing incidents of kidnappings for ransom. They also raised concerns about the construction of canals on the Indus River, calling it a deliberate effort to harm Sindh. Jatoi assured his support, stating that he would attend the conference with his associates to work towards collective national interests and peace restoration.

Other members of the delegation were Hizbullah Jakkro, Naeem Ahmed Kamboh, Hafiz Abdul Waheed Khanzada, and Nadeem Ahmed Ghori.
