Old rivalry claims four more precious lives

SHIKARPUR: Four youngsters were killed in an armed clash that took place between two rival Panhwar and Brohi communities at village Dad Muhammad Brohi with the jurisdiction of Madeji police station on Friday late night.

According to reports reached here that some group of armed persons belonging to Panhwar community opened fires with automatic weapons upon their enemy groups men of Brohi Community sitting at a Fish form near to their village Dad Muhammad Brohi.

As a result of heavy exchange of fires, four persons including Manzoor Ahmed, Muhammad Ibrahim, Riaz Ahmed and Muhammad Sharif belonging to Brohi communities were killed and one Ahsan Brohi was received seriously injured in their deadly armed battle.

Area police rushed to the spot and transported the dead bodies of deceased persons and injured to Madeji hospital for postmortem examination and medical first aid. The injured Ahsan Ali was referred to Larkana Hospital after giving him medical first aid from Madeji Hospital due to his precarious condition.

The Nimaz-e-Janaza of deceased persons were offered at their village Dad Muhammad Brohi on Tuesday and laid down in peace at their native graveyard. The cause behind the deadly clash was said to be an ongoing old tribal dispute developed between two rival communities of Brohi and Panhwar of the area. No FIR was registered till late evening of Tuesday.
