Faisalabad, August 30, 2021 (PPI-OT):On the special directives of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Engr. Bashir Ahmed FESCO Safety Directorate is fully activated in all five operation circles of FESCO region to save the line staff from fatal as well as non-fatal accidents and initiating strict departmental action on violation of the safety codes and measures. In this connection, during the last one year job allowance worth 5 lac was deducted from the salaries of 50 linemen while departmental action was initiated against the 10 officials.
During the period of July 2020 to June 2021 Safety Directorate and Safety Control room under the supervision of Deputy Director Safety Muhammad Saeed Raza paid surprise visits during the shutdown and other maintenance work and found the M Arshad, M Azam, Nawaz, and Atta Muhammad of garden colony sub division, Farooq and M Shafiq of Samundari road sub division, M Sarfraz of city sub division, M Khalid and M Sagheer of Jaranwala road sub division, Anyat Rasool civil lines sub division, Ashraf Nazir and Waheed Saeed of Gulberg sub division, M Naseer Sargodha road sub division, M Idrees City Samundari sub division, M Shafiq and M Waqas of Islam Pura sub division, M Boota and M Rafiq Hajiabad sub division, Rashid Naeed, Talib Hussain, Rizwan Ali and Yasir Muslim Town sub division, Ibrar, M Usman, M Younas and Ashraf Anjum Batala Colony sub division, M Mushtaq and Wasim Ashraf People Colony sub division, M Riaz Madina Town sub division, Akram Ali and Toqeer Ali Kareem Town sub division, M Shahzad and M Ali Bakar Mandi sub division, Khawar Hussain and Awais Akram construction sub division, Muqadas Nazimabad sub division, M Shahbaz Faizabad sub division, Abdul Ghaffar, Abdul Sattar and M Shahbaz Manawala sub division, Rashid Ali, Tariq Mehmood and M Shahid Allama Iqbal sub division, Samanabad sub division and Mubeen ur Rehman and Rizwan Ali of Samanabad sub division involved in the violation of safety codes and as punishment job allowance worth 5 lac was deducted from salaries violated line staff. Similarly, departmental action under Pakistan WAPDA E and D rule was taken against the 10 linemen while warning letters were issued to five linemen.
