One crore rupees cheque presented to Chief Minister for dam fund

Lahore, May 01, 2019 (PPI-OT): During the inauguration ceremony of labor colony at Warburton, the labor minister Ansar Majeed Niazi presented a cheque worth one crore rupees to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar as a donation from industrial workers for the dam fund. Federal minister Ijaz Shah said that Nankana Sahib was ignored in the past and added that 22 thousand Kanal state-land has been retrieved from the land grabbers in Nankana Sahib during the anti-encroachment campaign launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

The government has also allocated funds for Baba Guru Nanak University in the next financial year. The commission was taken in name of projects in the past but I will not let anybody to take a bribe, he added. The PTI government has completed the first phase of this project which was lingering for many years. Provincial minister Ansar Majeed said that labor policy has been announced and many steps have been taken for the welfare of the laborers. Health minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that Sehat Insaf Card scheme has been launched in Nankana Sahib which will facilitate 88 thousand families who would get treated up to Rs.7.20 lakh and this amount can be increased if needed. Labour leader Sami Ullah also spoke on the occasion.
