A suspected robber was gunned down and three others arrested in three separate encounters with police at various locations in Karchi on Wednesday.

In the Sohrab Goth area, police engaged with a group of robbers at Indus Plaza, leading to the death of one unidentified perpetrator while another managed to escape. Authorities disclosed that a pistol along with ammunition was seized from the scene. The deceased’s body was transported to the hospital as investigations continue.

Another incident unfolded in Azizabad’s Muhammadi Colony, where police apprehended a robber identified as Muhammad Imran, son of Sakha Muhammad, in an injured state. His accomplice fled the area. Law enforcement recovered a pistol, ammunition, and a motorcycle during the operation. Imran was taken to the hospital for treatment, and further inquiries are ongoing.

Meanwhile, in the Darakshan jurisdiction, police arrested two injured robbers after a confrontation. The detainees were identified as Mumtaz Hussain, son of Allah Ditta, and Nadeem, son of Manzoor Hussain. Officers recovered two pistols, several rounds of ammunition, four stolen mobile phones, two school bags, and a motorcycle. The injured suspects were shifted to the hospital, with investigations underway to gather more details surrounding the incident.
