TOBA TEKSINGH: Operation against encroachments and buildings constructed without maps is ongoing across the district on Saturday.

In this regard, special anti-encroachment squads have been formed by the municipal committees. Actions are also being taken in case of violation of orders. Anti-encroachment squads are making announcements in the markets and informing the shopkeepers about the upcoming actions.

In the city, Chief Officer District Council Anwar Baig himself stayed in the field at Bypass Chowk. The cleaning of the green belt was carried out by the assistant commissioners along with the anti-encroachment squad.

The warnings have also been issued to the shopkeepers besides imposing fines for violation. Deputy Commissioner Adnan Irshad Cheema said that the grand cleaning operation is going on in the district and citizens should support the district administration in this operation.
