Opposition behavior in BA budget session termed against democratic norms

QUETTA: Minister for Communication and Works, Mir Muhammad Arif Muhammad Hasni, has said that an amount of Rs 499 billion had been allocated in the budge 2021-22 for development and non-development expenditures.

 

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that the incumbent provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, was earnestly striving for the progress and prosperity of the people of Balochistan and that was why opposition parties had been perturbed.

 

He said differences of opinion existed everywhere, but floor of the assembly could be used for the purpose. Expressing his displeasure over the behaviour of opposition members during the budget session of Balochistan Provincial, he termed the act of opposition members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly contrary to democratic norms.
