Opposition reluctant to hold talks with Govt for resolving public issues: Shafqat

Islamabad, December 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood says the Opposition parties are reluctant to hold talks with government for resolving public issues.

In an interview with a private television channel, he said the government has invited the Opposition leaders to attend important meetings of NCOC, so that the SOPs could be implemented in a proper manner.

The minister said Opposition has no interest in public health issues and the leaders of PPP and PML-N are rejecting the meetings of COVID-19.

In reply to a question about equal education system, he said the incumbent government has a focus on student learning objectives.
