Our society is still surviving because of hard work or people like Dr. Ajmal Khan: Mohammad Ahmad Shah

Karachi, July 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): Our society is still surviving because of the hard work or people like Dr. Ajmal Khan, main purpose of today’s event is that people who have been putting lot of effort in the field of education for the betterment of the country should be respected and remembered, This was said by President Arts Council Mohammad Ahmad Shah during a condolence reference of eminent educationist and former Vice Chancellor University of Karachi Dr. Ajmal Khan.

Many notable personalities were present in the reference to pay homage to Dr. Khan. Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University Dr. Peezada Qasim said that Dr. Ajmal belonged to middle class background yet he achieved the heights of success purely because of his immense hard work and dedication. Secretary Arts Council of Pakistan Ejaz Ahmed Farooqi said that Dr. Ajmal had great interest in literature which led to his great relationship with arts Council. Dr. Khan was a member of arts council and a regular attendee of various literature programs.

Current Vice Chancellor University of Karachi Dr. Khalid Iraqi said that Dr. Ajmal were a prominent part of University of Karachi and he will always be remembered. He always wanted Karachi University to become best and he worked very hard for that. Dr. Aliya Imam said that we all knew that a greater human being Dr. Ajmal was when he was alive but now we realize that we couldn’t take proper advantage of his knowledge and we will always regret that.

Dr. Ajmal Khan wife expressed his gratitude for Dr. Ajmal and said that his whole life was struggle and hard work and he eventually got reward of it with his success. He always believed in merit and never compromised on that. Dr. Ajmal’s daughter Mishal khan said that he may not be with us physically but he will be always among us through his magnificent work. Among other speakers were Sardar Yaseen Malik, Former Registrar University of Karachi Munawwar Rasheed, Dr. Toseef, Dr. Fayyaz and Dr. Irfan while Shakeel Ahmed hosted the reference.
