PAF Air War Course delegation calls on Balochistan Governor

QUETTA:Governor Balochistan, Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has the status of “game changer” linking up a vast sweep of regional markets from China to Asia to the Middle East to Europe.

“We are proud of our national institutions and it is an honour for all of us that today officers from other countries are coming here to seek training from our institutions,” he said while talking to under training officers of PAF Air War Course who called on him at Governor House here on Wednesday.

During the meeting, participants of PAF Air War Course put questions relating to the ongoing developmental process, law and order situation, vocational training centres, agriculture and livestock which were answered in detail by the governor.

Yasinzai said that Balochistan was replete with natural and mineral resources, adding that owing to scattered population and vast area, it was difficult to provide basic services to the people at their threshold. He added that despite having a long border with Afghanistan and Iran, unlike the past, law and order situation in the province had been improved owing to the sacrifices rendered by security forces.

He said vast opportunities for investment in the province were available and in this regard, national and foreign investors could benefit from available opportunities. In reply to a question, he said more attention was required to be focused on agriculture and livestock sectors keeping in view the increasing public demands. At the end, souvenirs were exchanged amongst the guests.
