Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met with Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, in Beijing Wednesday to discuss the advancement of mutual interests between the two nations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared on X that both leaders recalled the Deputy Prime Minister’s recent visit to Kabul, emphasizing the positive momentum in bilateral relations. They noted improvements in diplomatic engagement, trade, and transit facilitation.
Both officials expressed a commitment to collaborate on enhancing trade, transit, connectivity, and security, signifying a strengthened partnership aimed at benefiting both countries.
