Pakistan and Azerbaijan have pledged to deepen their bilateral relations by enhancing cooperation in sectors such as energy, investment, and tourism. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Privatization and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, in Baku.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized the investment opportunities available in Pakistan, particularly with the ongoing privatization of State-Owned Enterprises. He extended an invitation to Azerbaijan to invest in Pakistan’s motorway infrastructure and other key sectors, promising full facilitation for such ventures.
The discussions also covered the development of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan strategic partnership in the economy, trade, and other areas of mutual interest. Azeri Prime Minister Ali Asadov welcomed the Pakistani delegation and reiterated the strong ties between the two nations.
