Pakistan Community celebrates Renaissance Day

Islamabad,
July 15, 2019 (PPI-OT): HE Ali Javed, Pakistan’s Envoy to Oman, joined by the
vibrant Pakistani community in Oman shall welcome the forthcoming ‘Renaissance
Day’ to mark His Majesty’s ascension to throne of July 23, 1970 with planned
Events to pay glowing tribute to His Majesty’s sagacious and visionary
leadership of near 50 years, says a press release received here today from
Muscat. An On-board Reception on Pakistan Navy Ship ‘Shahjahan’ at Mattrah Port
on 15 July, 2019 will commence the celebrations with participation of official
delegation of Sultanate, Diplomatic Corps and Pakistani community.

The
Ambassador credited the community for hosting the first ‘Pakistan Festival’ at
Convention Center on 25 most renowned Artists, Anchorpersons and Intellectuals,
including 5 recipient of National Awards, to highlight 5,000 years of
established linkages between Pakistan and Oman. The Ambassador stated that the
enterprising Zain Ashraf Mughal, Founder and CEO ‘Seedout’, Pakistan’s first
interest-free, crowd funding platform, with global acknowledgement for its
ingenuity to work with poverty line households, shall deliver a presentation,
in addition to special appearance of TV Anchorpersons Talat Hussain, Javed
Chaudhary, Tariq Chaudhary and Makhdoom Shihabuddin, Resident Editor ‘The News’
Aamir Ghauri, and Exec Editor ‘Pakistan Observer’ Gauhar Zahid Malik.

The
Ambassador acknowledged the exclusive media coverage being partnership with
‘Times of Oman’ and appreciated the role of Ameer Hamza, Advisor to Ambassador
for Civil Society and Qamar Riaz, Special Nominee of Ambassador for organizing
the Event with ‘Alpha Events Oman’. Pakistan Festival shall commence at 6pm on
July 26, 2019 at the prestigious Auditorium of Convention Center which has
