Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Thursday that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country while a shallow westerly wave is expected to affect upper and western parts of the country from tonight.

Today, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in central and southern parts. However, partly cloudy weather conditions with rain-windstorm/thunderstorm are expected at isolated places in northwestern Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during evening/night.

On Friday: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot/dust raising winds in central and southern parts. However, partly cloudy weather conditions with rain-windstorm/thunderstorm are expected at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, northwestern Balochistan, Kashmir and Pothohar region.

Past 24 Hour Weather: Hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country, while very hot in southern and central parts. However, rain-wind-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in northern Balochistan including Kalat.
