Pakistan has lot of potential in traditional herbal medicines: Indonesian envoy

ISLAMABAD: Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Adam M Tugio has said Pakistan has a lot of potential in traditional herbal medicines.

Addressing a seminar at COMSTECH here in Islamabad on Monday, he said the global herbal medicines market is expected to reach close to four hundred billion dollars by 2029. He pointed out that the herbal medicines are receiving a very positive response from the world population. The Ambassador emphasized for greater collaboration within the OIC and sharing of best practices in order to benefit from the trade of herbal medicines.
