Islamabad, May 15, 2021 (PPI-OT): Pakistan has serious concerns over the rising Islamophobia, racism, hate speeches, discrimination and intolerance around the world. This was stated by Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser while talking to British High Commissioner Dr. Christian Turner in Islamabad today.
They discussed the ongoing bilateral engagements between the two countries and exchanged view to enhance the scope of cooperation both at governmental and parliamentary levels. The Speaker said that ridicule, insult or defamation of religious personalities should be discouraged and penalized. The British High Commissioner greeted the Speaker on the ending of holy month of Ramadan and wished a happy and healthy Eid to the entire Muslim Ummah.
