Pakistan, Iran agrees to start talks on Free Trade Agreement 

Islamabad, November 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan and Iran have agreed to start talks on Free Trade Agreement and other important issues of trade for increasing bilateral trade volume and investment opportunities. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Commerce, both the countries will also discuss barter trade, cooperation in transportation, Free Trade Agreement, construction of border markets and other issues relating to bilateral trade.

A Memorandum of Understanding on exhibition cooperation will also be signed between the two countries. A two-day 9th Joint Trade Committee meeting between Iran and Pakistan is scheduled to be held in Tehran on Saturday.
