Pakistan has secured a commitment from Kuwait to explore new avenues for collaboration in the critical energy sector, a move underscored by the Gulf nation”s pledge to support the country”s development amid its recent positive economic momentum.
According to an official information today, the understanding was formalized during a meeting between Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik and the Ambassador of Kuwait to Pakistan, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, in the capital.
Speaking at the occasion, Minister Malik characterized the relationship between the two nations as one built on mutual trust, respect, and a long-term partnership. He articulated Pakistan”s keen interest in further enhancing cooperation with Kuwait specifically within the petroleum domain. The Petroleum Minister also praised the constructive role of the Kuwaiti envoy, calling him a “true friend of Pakistan.”
In his remarks, Ambassador Almutairi acknowledged the recent upward economic trajectory in Pakistan. He expressed his country”s steadfast resolve to stand with Pakistan and provide backing for its national development.
The Ambassador stressed that Kuwait stands firmly with Pakistan and wishes to see it prosper and advance on all fronts.
