Islamabad, August 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri has said Pakistani authorities provided full cooperation to the Afghan delegation that came to Islamabad to look into the matter regarding complaint of Afghan Ambassador’s daughter. In a statement, he said we have seen the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement and the complainant’s video. He said it is once again highlighted that the visiting delegation was given a comprehensive briefing on each aspect of the complaint.
The delegation was informed that the technical data like geo-fencing matched with the actual movement of complainant on the day and confirmed by the statements of the taxi drivers, shows that the complaint did not corroborate the findings on the ground. The Spokesperson expressed the hope that the Government of Afghanistan would cooperate in expeditious provision of the earlier requested information.
