Pakistan is actively seeking to establish multiple collaborative ventures with the United Kingdom in the technology and IT sectors, leveraging what a senior official describes as the nation’s significant potential in these fields.
According to an official report today, the initiative was put forward by Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, during a high-level meeting in the British capital with the UK’s Minister of State for Trade Policy, Chris Bryant.
During the talks, Minister Iqbal identified several avenues for Pak-UK cooperation, specifically underscoring the South Asian country”s strong capacity in information technology, human resources, and the wider technology domain.
The discussions were framed within the context of the two nations” deep and historic bond. The minister noted this relationship is firmly rooted in longstanding cultural ties and strong people-to-people linkages.
