In a significant development, Pakistan and Russia have pledged to deepen their bilateral ties and enhance parliamentary diplomacy.

This commitment emerged from a meeting between Pakistan’s Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matvienko, held in Moscow.

The discussions highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy amidst escalating global tensions. The leaders emphasized the crucial role of dialogue and peaceful negotiations in resolving international disputes.
