The government today announced that the deportation of all illegal foreigners and Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders will begin from April 1, 2025, following the expiry of the voluntary repatriation deadline on March 31. The decision is part of the ongoing Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Program (IFRP), which has been in effect since November 1, 2023.

According to PID information, the national leadership has decided to extend the repatriation plan to include ACC holders, urging them to leave the country before the deadline. Authorities have assured that no individual will face maltreatment during the process and that food and healthcare arrangements have been made for returning foreigners.

The government emphasized that Pakistan has fulfilled its responsibilities as a host nation and remains committed to ensuring a dignified return for those affected. It reiterated that individuals wishing to stay must comply with all legal formalities and adhere to the country’s constitution.
