KARACHI: Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, has said that the arts and culture may expose real face of Pakistan and its soft image worldwide, so we should adopt the pattern which Europe follows.

This he said while speaking to Nasir Javed, the Chairman of Crescent Art Gallery (CAG) and Chief Executive, R Sameer Nasir, during an especial meeting at Senate Secretariat, according to a statement issued on Sunday.

Nasir briefed Sanjrani about CAG and discussed other bilateral issues, especially the challenges faced by young Pakistani artists while he also specified the contribution and activities of CAG towards for Pakistani art and culture as well as for the improvement and development of youngsters through exhibitions, workshops, seminars, group discussions and arts education.

The CAG chairman further stated that the senior artists are contributing their exemplary role to new comers as international artists play role for youngsters while the CAG provides its facilitation with its level best because CAG wants to get maximum satisfactions at its organizational end and no stone will be left unturned in this connection. Nasir presented a portrait to Sanjrani while Chairman gave an especial shield to Chief Executive, R Sameer Nasir at the end of the meeting.
