Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hameed, today officially commenced his duties after presenting his Letter of Credence to the Japanese Emperor during a dignified ceremony at the Imperial Palace, reaffirming Islamabad”s commitment to enhancing its multifaceted cooperation with Tokyo.
Following the formal presentation, Ambassador Hameed conveyed messages of goodwill to the Emperor on behalf of Pakistan”s President and Prime Minister, according to a statement released by the Embassy of Pakistan.
The ambassador emphasized Pakistan”s dedication to bolstering the enduring friendship between the two nations and broadening their wide-ranging partnership.
A high-level delegation from the Pakistani Embassy accompanied the ambassador, including Economic Minister Syed Irfan Abbas Shah, Defence Attaché Air Commodore Yashir Shafiq Malik, and Political Counsellor Ch. Talha Bin Khalid.
Also in attendance were Press Counsellor Muqarrab Mukhtar Awan, Trade and Investment Counsellor Ms. Madiha Ali, and Community Welfare Attaché Ms. Zahra Dastagir.
Senior Japanese dignitaries were also present for the occasion, notably the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ryosei Akazawa, signifying the event”s importance.
