Lahore, October 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):Parliamentary Committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) held a regional dialogue “CPEC Industrial Cooperation and its Way Forward” organized by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, on the Role of Parliament in Promoting Exports, Trade and Commerce under CPEC in Punjab.
The inaugural session was held under the Chairmanship of MNA Sher Ali Arbab. Provincial Minister for Finance Hashim Jawan Bakht highlighted the role CPEC is playing in regional growth and development. The event was attended parliamentarians, the Secretaries of Planning and Development, Environment, and Agriculture, representatives of PIEMC and FIEDMC and CEO, PBIT.
