Partial lockdown observed in Gambat

Gambat:A partial lockdown was observed in Gambat on Saturday as the people’s strength to stay homes weakened and their needs further rose.

Rush of people was seen at many places as lockdown has been eased by the government. However, bazaars and markets remained closed in the town. Only retail shops were opened to provide daily use items to the citizens. Sindh government offices and educational institutes, including private, remained closed. Police and Rangers have been deployed across the town to keep citizens indoor.

A low number of motorcycles, cars and other vehicles were seen plying the roads for necessary works. The hospitals and medical stores however remained open to cater to the needs to patients. The laborers community has badly been affected by the lockdown and they need urgent relief goods, including ration, to feed their children. A large public gatherings, weddings and congregations, conferences and other events have also been banned in the town.
