The Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) has seized large quantities of Iranian diesel and narcotics during operations in Gwadar, Pasni, and Uthal over the past month.

In a monthly report issued on Wednesday, PCG said it confiscated 823,452 litres of Iranian diesel, 135 kilograms of ice (methamphetamine), and 652.5 kilograms of hashish in multiple raids. These operations are part of the force’s ongoing efforts to curb smuggling and drug trafficking in the region, the spokesman said.

The seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.

Separately, Risaldar levies force Ziarat was electrocuted to death on Wednesday in Ziarat area.

According to levies, Risaldar levies force Ziarat received severe electric shock at his home in Ziarat. His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Ziarat and later handed over to the heirs.
