Peace in Afghanistan to increase regional ties, increase economic activity and open up new avenues for development: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser 

Islamabad, October 17, 2021 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser while addressing a large public gathering in district Swabi, today said that the government is aware of the suffering of the people and trying utmost to provide relief to them. He said that the entire world is currently going through difficult times, however, the Corona epidemic has affected the global economy, which has led to rising international inflation. He said that the situation in Afghanistan is changing rapidly and the Government want peace in Afghanistan.

He said that the establishment of peace in the region will open new avenues of development. The Speaker said that our exports to Central Asian states would increase with advent of peace in the region.

The Speaker Said that Afghanistan had been subjected to war since last four decades which has left a negative impact on the region. He said that a large portion of the national budget was used for the war on terror which weakened the economy.

He said that opening of Gwadar would open up the markets of Central Asia. Referring to Rashkai Economic Zone, he said that Rashkai Economic Zone would create new employment opportunities and bring prosperity to the people.

Speaker Asad Qaiser blamed the previous governments for the destruction of state owned enterprises. He said that the direction of the country was on right path and the nation had been less in path to progress. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has no personal business and was only concerned with prosperity of nation and country.

He said that for the first time Pakhtuns have been represented at the national level. He said that it was his mission to work for the development and prosperity of the country. Referring to the social welfare projects in Swabi, he said that the foundation stone of Women and Children Hospital would be laid on October 31 at a cost of Rs. 4 billion in Swabi.

He said that sports grounds would be constructed in every union council at a cost of Rs. 200 million. Referring to the provision of medical treatment facilities in Swabi, the Speaker said that improving the health sector was the top priority. The Speaker said that development and prosperity of the country was his mission.
