Islamabad, September 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi says a peaceful Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakistan as well as the entire world and will help us enhance our regional connectivity with landlocked Central Asian States.
He was addressing a consultative workshop titled “Security Challenges post US/NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan at global and regional level in general and for Pakistan in particular” in Islamabad today [Monday]. He said that the government is keenly watching the emerging scenario in Afghanistan. He said increasing trade with the regional countries and boosting economic opportunities in the Maritime domain, should be capitalized.
