QUETTA:Malik Imranullah Kakar, President, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Balochistan has said that Pakistan is a democratic state, but a few authoritative land lord families ruling the country have kept the people ignorant of the real definition of democracy and the vivid example was the recent polls of Senate when people were bought and sold like animals.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Thursday along with Syed Saleem Akhtar Advocate, General Secretary, MQM Balochistan and others, he said in order to organize MQM in the province, names of office bearers for different committees of the party, including Quetta Zone Committee, Quetta District Committee, Legal Aid Committee, Women Wing and Election Cell, had been finalized.
