KARACHI:PM’s Advisor on Accountability and Interior Brig (R) Muhammad Musaddiq Abbasi called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at Governor’s House today. Matters of mutual interest including current political situation and government’s measures for eradicating corruption were discussed.
The governor said it is of utmost importance to rid Pakistan of corruption and mal-practices in order to tackle economic challenges and inflation. “The government has zero tolerance for corruption as it leads to crime, unemployment, poverty, economic imbalances and disparity in the society”, he added.
Brig. (R) Muhammad Musaddiq Abbasi said that the corruption during the past regimes has plunged the country into the present quagmire; and therefore the government would continue its efforts till complete uprooting of corruption.
