Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday honored the martyrs of the Ma’arkaiHaq (Battle of Truth), highlighting that the Pakistan armed forces dismantled India’s illusion of numerical strength through Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.

On October 24, the prime minister saluted the families of those who sacrificed their lives, acknowledging the bravery of five Pakistan Air Force officers and personnel, as well as six officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred in defense of the homeland. He emphasized that the country’s sovereignty and integrity remained intact due to their dedication.

The prime minister expressed the nation’s pride in its martyrs and assured that their sacrifices will always be remembered. He conveyed sorrow over the loss of 40 civilians, including 15 children and 7 women, due to Indian aggression, affirming the continued support for the martyrs’ families through a previously announced Martyrs’ Package.

Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the martyrs’ elevation and the recovery of the injured, asserting that Operation Bunyanum Marsoos provided a decisive response to India. He reiterated that while Pakistan is a peaceful nation, it is prepared to respond to any form of aggression.
